Morgan's Birthday Bash

We celebrated Morgan's birthday last night and had a blast. I was a bit bummed the weather wasn't nice , but it worked out fine. We had a great time and she got lots of goodies-including a home-made little dress for a new baby, a doll swing, books, a purse, a book and an apron. Of course some adorable new fall clothes too! Thanks everyone! We had a ladybug theme party and I hid paper ladybugs all over and the kids had fun looking for them. Just a great night celebrating our little girl! We love you Miss Morgan Noelle! Happy 2nd ! (and by the way, she is suddenly acting like a 2 year old.. ugh....) Here are a few shots:

Ok- heres the story, every day we would go the "Tee Pee" (snack shop) after chapel (which Hugh went to) and get sticky buns.. well with Gavin's celiac disease, he can't have them... so ... of course we offered what else, but a slushie at 10:30 !!! The two others faces say it all! And Gav is clearly rubbing it in a bit!

We're back...

We made it back from vacation and had a great time! The kids did relatively well on the ride there- I gave them "surprises" every hour (just stuff from the dollar store) that occupied them nicely. They got a new DVD from our church bookstore and watched that. They had their snacks and they were just generally excited! We left Saturday around 9:30 and got there by 3:30. It rained Sunday, but the rest of the week was absolutely GORGEOUS!!! We really could not of asked for nicer weather. The kids did really well considering they were going to bed way later then usual. There were a few meltdowns here or there, but nothing crazy and nothing unexpected. It was so fun to spend time with my nieces and hang out with Landyn. Morgan was totally obsessed with Landyn, like a CRAZY girl. She called him "baby dandin" - so cute. The day we got there was my sister in law's Birthday , then on Thursday, the 13th, was Morgans! We had a little cake for her. (we'll have a party here later this week) So here are a few pics ( I took 394 !!! Yikes!) so can't post them all, but here's a taste! Thanks mom and dad for a wonderful time!

Vacation!

We're headed up to the Adirondacks Saturday and I can't wait! I grew up going and it's become a family tradition! The kids are excited as well, marking off their calender every day! Too cute! While we are there our "baby" will turn 2 !!!! Crazy! We'll do something little for her there, then have a bigger party when we get back! I'm sure I"ll have hundreds of pics , so I"ll post a few when we return! Until then...... and Happy Early Birthday my sweet Morgan Noelle!

4 H fair ...

We went to the 4 H Fair tonight and had fun! It's Hugh's last night here , before he leaves to go with the Saints on his week long missions trip! It wasn't nearly as big as last year, but the kids didn't care and we didn't spend as much money on rides! I had some fun with the camera as you'll see when the kids were walking on the dirt road.... They had fun looking at the animals, petting them and playing on a hay maze! Fun summer nights... ahhhhhh....
