Swimming time!

With the summer heat fully upon us, we have been in the pool a LOT! The kids have turned into quite the little fish! The other night my dad joined us for dinner and then swam with the kids. They had a blast and I think tuckered him out! Here are a few of my favorite shots.. I was a little camera happy so I have a ton, need to go through and edit some. I love my dad and I'm so thankful he is close with our children, and all his grandchildren. A fun fact is he just at 60 years old completed his 46th High Peak Mountain hike!!! (there are 46 total) Pretty impressive! My brothers were able to join him a few weeks ago and they had a blast! Great job dad!

I love Brayden's face.. can you tell he is LOVING it or what?

Hugh lifting Morgan our little peanut compared to the boys! I think she weighs about 23 lb. soaking wet!

Love this girl.. my almost 2 year old!!!!!!

I don't remember seeing my dad in our little pool without a kid on him...

Look- you can still see the hands around his waist!

And yes.. another - I think they were playing Marco Polo.. and Gavin (on his back) kept saying "Marco." He didn't quite understand...

Take time...

With a 5 year old, a 3 year old and a 23 month old- life seriously goes WAY to fast! Tonight we were at Target and next to Target is a little sitting area behind Pannera Bread that has water shooting up- it was hot, the kids had no bathing suits, but I thought who cares? They played in the water shooting up for almost 45 minutes! They loved it! As I sat there and marveled in the fact this is my first summer without a baby on my hip and all 3 able to walk (and run!) I just took it all in. My three adorable kids soaking wet, ringlets on Morgan having the time of their lives. Sometimes I get caught up in the busyness of life and I don't take the time to just to stop "and smell the floweres." I thank God for my sweet, soaking wet kids, tantrums and all!

We had a fun weekend! On Saturday we celebrated Brynna's 1st Birthday and Cambria's 3rd. It was a blast! Tim made a slip N' slide and the kids loved it! They had enough baby shampoo on them, we even skipped Saturday night baths! Fun times!

Tim Helping Gavin slide down

Morgan LOVED it! She got taken out a few times because she was just standing on it, but she just laughed!

Here comes Brayden!

My dad took 5 of his 7 grandkids on a walk which was nice, I got to sit down and eat!

See? No baths needed tonight! ha ha

this girl....

This crazy 23 month old cracks me up! She is go go go go ALL the time, but give her something good to eat and she'll sit and let me snap away! I froze some yogurt and the kids thought it was the best thing in the world.. seriously, not sure why I haven't done that before! Better then some of the kids popsicles that are loaded with sugar! The boys downed theirs and went back in the pool and Miss Morgan just sat and sat... the dog anxiously awaiting any droppings...!!! Too funny! Needless to say, she was covered in it , but she enjoyed it!

Dig in girl!

Checking on the boys in the pool...

"Look Mom- it's on my hands!" (and everywhere else by the end!)

I think a leaf or something flew or fell into it.. she worked hard to get it out!

Happy 1st Birthday Brynna Anne!

Tomorrow, July 8th is my nieces 1st Birthday! Brynna Anne joined this crazy family one year ago! I remember holding her in the hospital and tomorrow she is ONE! I have been blessed to have 3 wonderful nieces and I'm thankful we live close to my brothers and their families so I can see them grow up! Brynna is one of the sweetest babies you'll ever meet! She has the best giggle and adorable little dimple! (Becca even said the dimple looks more like mine then Tims!) So Brynna Anne - Happy Birthday- I love you!

Seriously look at this kid- SOOOO sweet! Waving hi between the ladder rungs after Morgan had just stepped on her fingers climbing up!

our park night..

We decided to do a quick picnic at the park tonight and just have fun. We did! I attempted to get some shots of the kids (with the bribery of fruit snacks) and got some funny ones and some not bad ones!
Heres the boys eating dinner...

Not too bad...Morgan is looking up... but it's cute.

Again, not the best, but not the worst either!

4th of July!

We spent our 4th of July around here. We drove to my parents house this year (literally a block and half away) but with Hugh on crutches, we thought best we drive! We set up our chairs for the parade, our townships annual little parade that I grew up going to! The kids were excited- they love the parade, but will tell you the best part is getting candy! We watched the parade then headed to my moms for lunch. I have a ton of pictures, but I haven't uploaded them all yet. Below are a few. After naptime my whole family including my brand new nephew came back to our house. I have been the assigned grill girl since Hugh's injury and let me tell you, I don't mind it, but I will happily give him back his "baby." (the grill!) The good thing was all the burgers were cooked! We skipped fireworks this year and stuck to a regular Sat. night routine of baths and bed since we had church this morning. It was fun!

I got some good shots of my usually way to active 5 year old today!

NOt crazy of this shot of myself, but it's funny because Hugh was yelling at Bryan to get his foot in the shot.. and he did! Theres the ever so present red cast!

Waiting for the candy.. whoops I mean parade...

Daddy and his little girl... so precious...

New Nephew!

Landyn Allen Loesch arrived Tuesday, June 30th weighing in at 10lb. 5 oz. and 21 inches long! (thankfully it was a C-section!) Marsha is doing great and they came home today! We had Ava while her mommy and daddy were in the hospital and it was so much fun! We also had friends here from North Carolina (pics coming) so we had 7 kids in the house! Everyone did great sharing rooms, pack N' plays, bunk beds, air mattresses and using a play room as a bedroom and 2 1/2 baths for a total of 11 people! It was so fun to hold a newborn again, (no worries, no baby itch!) and it just reminds me of the miracle of life and how FAST the kids grow!!! I can't wait to do a photoshoot with him! Anyway, here is my new nephew!
