Busy, Busy...

Life is busy in 2009.. with kids being sick, cold weather, snow and just getting back into the routine after Christmas break. We have had a bout with the stomach bug this week (NOT FUN!) and I'm finally catching up on laundry. We had a "bye bye binky" party last night for Gavin.. he is 2 1/2 and I have put it off long enough! He only had it in bed.. but it was time.. he did great! Did'nt cry for it.. except he was up a wee bit earlier and he has not napped his usual 2 1/2 hours! But totally doing great! Here are some pics of us around the house having fun..

Fun Times..

We had a great Christmas here! Tiring, but fun! Tired of putting together toys now, but having a blast playing them! The kids did really well, saying Thank you when appropriate and even acting as if they loved opening clothes! We had a nice brunch over my parents with my brothers and their families and then headed home for nap-time. After naptime, we had my parents and Tim and Becca and the girls over. We had fun playing with the new toys! Such great memories. Having three kids to help open gifts, I was disappointed I didn't get better shots of them opening gifts, but here are a few.. (I did take over 200- just have to edit some!) Enjoy!

I really love Christmas time and the decorations and the lights.. it's just plain fun! The kids have had fun playing with the train set, making cookies, opening their advent calender every morning and singing Christmas music! Here a few shots around the house... Enjoy!

Photo Fun...

If you have young kids, you know getting a good shot with all of them smiling is really difficult.. no scratch that.. impossible!! So me and my bright ideas decide to do this today when Hugh is at work (1st mistake) and it's just me.. well, as you can see.. it was quite interesting.. Morgan who is normally very camera friendly, decided she wanted nothing to do with it.. Ugh... Brayden was waving half the time, and Gavin , well, Gavin who knows! I did use one for our Christmas card, because I needed to get them ordered and in the mail! Anyway.. enjoy my crazy, adorable kids!
